Gettin' Swann, and great captaincy from Cook to put the bowler on that they're going after to get some false shots. One in the eye for the critics there.

I think I hate Warner the most of all the Aussies. He's playing one day innings and getting away with it. We're on the wrong end of a run of form that he won't have again in his carer.

Agree totally. How they can play in 43.2 deg c is beyond me. That's too hot for me that by about 15 deg.[DOUBLEPOST=1386913997][/DOUBLEPOST]

Right then, this is key. Haddin/Johnson can take this away quickly but can also throw it away.

Been surprised by the way Australia have played so far. After they've scored big in both tests and batted for ages they haven't half played some loose shots today.
 
Neither of these two are all that but here we are just shy of a century stand.....need to wrap up these last 5 wickets soon
 
Yep, these already have enough for a first innings lead. WTF was the selection policy for this tour all about when none of the big lads get a bowl at Perth.
 
Great work by England in the afternoon session once again seemingly managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Not a bad little partnership by Smith and Haddin, mind. This series is turning into an embarrassment.

Not for me, Bresnan gets a game because he can bat a bit. He's bowled 80mph half trackers man. The conditions will miraculously become bowler friendly in the next innings. So tell me why Finn and Rankin went on tour?
