Thing is we have a habit of playing like that against good teams, and shite against less than good teams. They're been our two modes for the best part of five years. Lost count of the amount of times ive said in that time "if we can play like that against the teams around us we'll do well." But we never do sadly.
 

This is the run of fixtures where we have to start picking up points. We have had a tough run till now, we are bottom, we have to start winning.


Can't lose any of our home games, should be beating Norwich and Villa if we want to stay up. And we definitely can't afford to lose to either West Ham or Cardiff.


I'd definitely settle for 2 wins, 3 draws and a loss.

You've played 14 of the 19 opponents in the league, same as everyone else. There's been a mixture of good, bad and indifferent opponents same as everyone else.

Sadly this is how I see it panning out. Confidence is low. The team was like a load of headless chickens not really having a clue what they were meant to do against Chelsea so decision making is suffering. Passing is poor. Overall we are just in total disarray as far as ideas and both tactical and physical ability.

9-12 points there for the taking. If we can get that we have given ourselves a good chance of staying up.

I'll hoy in a cup win over chelsea as well for good measure. :)

Shouldn't you put your time to better use such as playing on the train tracks (blindfolded, preferably).

You have picked up 8 points from 14 games what makes you think you are going to pick up 12 from 6. The team does look more organised under Poyet but it's the same shite personnel being rotated that got you in this situation in the first place

We are clearly stronger at home (as are the vast majority of teams in the league), our home games thus far have effectively been the top half of the table as you'd expect them to finish, oh, and your lot.

Your comments, like that of everyone else, sadly has not moved on from anything less than uninformative and unhelpful. At no point has anyone explain why it is they think we are still the best thing since sliced bread and why it is they think we still have the quality to stay up when we couldn't even beat Hull City.
