New Music Releases Thread

Arkle knows everything.

I was helped by google on this occasion.

Back on new releases, Future of the Left's new album, "How to Stop Your Brain in an Accident" , is a late candidate for album of the year and "Wenu Wenu" by Omar Souleyman is tremendously food fun, Syrian wedding techno album of the decade...

Arcade Fire really, really need to stop this super long album trend, it bores me to death, it was one of my main gripes with The Suburbs. The new one is 75 minutes long.

aye! went on spotify seen the track lengths and just thought i can't be arsed

There's way less filler than The Suburbs mind, doesn't feel as long. Still only had 3 listens but I really like it. Joan of Arc is stuck on a loop in my head.

Aye i wake up with that song playing in my head. WTF?!

Like you say there is little or no filler in this album. Its excellent.

Listened to the first half of it earlier, not exactly my favourite genre but I enjoyed it.

Liking the new Warpaint song:

Album out in January:

Enjoying the latest Sky Larkin album as well, bit of a grower, gets better as the album goes on as well.

Typical that another album I pre-order gets delayed as well, Los Campesinos!, I've got no luck with this. Scared to pre-order the Warpaint one in case the same happens again.

Not bought for years, but picked up nme in an airport last week. It's shite like.

Anyway, I'm gonna run down their 500-1 best albums ever in the hope of finding a gem

Number 500 Outkast....rubbish
Number 499 for today is Belly - Star

Listened to it a few times now, love it so far, as mentioned it is better than 'The Suburbs' which I thought was class anyway. It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus) is the one stuck in my head at the moment. I really hope they tour this album, they are unbelievable live.
