who is everyone voting for?

im going for young scotty borthwick or maybes my cousin chris rushworth too. not being biased lk.

I'd have to go for go

Just the constant great performances in the face of what must have been gutting rejections by england again and again

I'm going with Borthwick, I think he's done fantastically after being asked to go 4 places up the order. He's taking the responsibility superbly. Shame he can't get a few more overs under his belt but with our openers he's not going to get the chance.

Borthwick, Onions or Rushworth. However the influence of Collingwood has been immense.

Borthwick for me 1,000 runs at 3, batting at Durham , 25 wickets, crucial wickets at Yorkshire and runs, plenty of catches, decent 20/20 campaign too.

GO and CR with honourable mentions

I voted for Rushy. A much improved player and a very underated bowler who has taken over 50 wickets and should and could have had more.

Borthwick for me. Turned from a decent spin bowler to a very good batsman.

Not sure he likes it that way though.

Stoneman for me. Opens the batting every other game on a bowlers deck and has set the tempo for many of our innings this year

Admirable mention for Borthwick, needs to work on his bowling mind as is capable of taking more wickets

Rushworth and Onions have both been good but their bowling is very conducive to the tracks we play on

Like Derbyshire?

Best way to think of it is which player would most negatively affect our results if you took their performances out

On this measure it's surely onions?

Borthwick. As near as makes no difference 1000 LVCC runs from a former number 8 batsman and a decent number of wickets playing half of his games on a non-spinning pitch.

Obviously Onions for sheer number of wickets, Rushworth for a huge improvement, Stoneman for 1000 runs and improving his consistency no one, or Colly for his inspired captaincy deserve mentions too. And any of them would be worthy winners
