I know google could help me here, but it's well known the SMB is better at this kind of thing. And wittier

If I took the day off work, how does one get there from that London? Worth a day out? Anyone off here going?

Train from Victoria surely, Hove is just Brighton, only the people that live there try to distinguish between the 2

I'm thinking of going, but it's possible that we might only need a point or two on day 1 or day 2, so not much of a climax?

I'm thinking of going for the Friday if we aren't awarded the trophy against Notts. Nee idea how to get there.

What I meant was.....is it central Brighton or what?

This place isn't what it was

lol wtf?

It's about a mile from the station, prolly less[DOUBLEPOST=1379242857][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'll pick you up on route!

Nice one, let's see what happens this week

Kids and missus to arrange. Reminder that there won't be any bloody accommodation - Marty couldn't find anything cos labour party conference is on

We'll sleep on the beach and I'll pick you up on my Lambretta.

What if I'm a rocker?[DOUBLEPOST=1379243848][/DOUBLEPOST]I have a tent

Im going to try to get down work permitting.

If we happen to wrap it up against Notts then I wont bother but if we need to go to Hove and get something I really want to be there as I missed the last 2. I would probably look to head down for the Thursday / Friday.

Ganning to Brighton to sleep in a tent with a liberal bloke I've never met before

Another curious one for the missus to ponder on

hove has its own station, its just the next stop along from brighton. the train from victoria terminates in brighton though, im not sure if there is one that goes through to hove from london. its no hassle mind to get the next train from brighton, jump on the bus or only a 20 minute walk from brighton station to hove ground and plenty of decent pubs on route.

iirc the friday [day four] is the same day we play peterborough in the cup although doubtful that will be televised, though would make stopping in on the match on teh way home from cricket do-able for those travelling from the NE

SAFC are at home to Peterborough on Tues 24th Sep which is the first day of the Sussex v Durham game.
