Massive game. Weather looks set fair for the duration.

Is Stokes back? Will he get back in? Should he get back in? Are Swann/Broad available for them? I know they're available for the pyjama game next weekend but might they get match time?

On nights next week but might make a couple of sleep deprived appearances.

In other news, I know a couple of Newcastle fans jumping on the success. They were confused when I told them to go away as support Northumberland.

21 points for the title. Lets say 16 for the win, 3 bowling and 2 batting in a low scoring game. Notts fighting to stay up though.

I've posted this in the Derbyshire match thread but might as well post it here for anyone who is thinking of going along.

Session times:

Hoping to get along on Thursday or Friday. If we beat Notts and score 5 bonus points then Yorks can't catch us even if they win both of their remaining games with max bonus points so I wonder if the trophy will be at the Riverside just incase.

The England lads won't have much time to sleep of they are back. Potentially not be leaving London until midnight the night before, then 10.15 start.

Already well excited for this. Not be able to get to any of it unfortunately.[DOUBLEPOST=1379192152][/DOUBLEPOST]Looking at the weather it looks like we'll get some rain, although not as much as Leeds is forecast. Too early to really know I guess like but we'll see.

Really hope this goes to the Friday as fancy a look down as never to a 4 day game before. Play starts at 10:15am as well instead if 10:30

This from cricinfo suggests they may not play against us

But both players have been included in a 15-man squad for the final and will travel to Durham next week for Notts' penultimate County Championship match to train alongside their team-mates.[DOUBLEPOST=1379241097][/DOUBLEPOST]Bit of a row developing it seems whether they should play the yb40

Nonsense imo, released by England it's up to Notts

Not really fussed if they play or not, we beat them at Trent Bridge with them in the side and sure we could do the same up here.[DOUBLEPOST=1379244441][/DOUBLEPOST]Also I really cant believe we are in this position this season, totally unexpected and couldnt be more delighted with the lads.

I'm on leave for two weeks (I know, look at me, pathetic) so will be there for as long as it ladts. Can't wait.

If Northumberland became a 1st class county playing home games in tha toon, you wouldnt see any mags for dust down the riverside.

Had something retweeted onto my twitter timeline today, some derbyshire fan was chatting shit about Durham CCC & called Durham a shit hole...

@leazeslad then retorted with this

"must be f***ing joking, Newcastle as a city is by a MILLION MILES, the best provincial place in the country"

Durham CCC has f•ck all to with Newcastle or Geordies, its a Wearside club at the end of the day...

Was the same with them trying to tag onto our ashes success.

Strange one that because I am born and bred in Northumberland yet suppport SAFC and DCCC. I could safely say that if Northumberland became a First Class County (never to happen by the way) there is no way I would follow them. Durham has always been and will always be my cricket county. I know lads up here who are staunch Yorkies when it comes to Cricket as they were pre 92 the nearest first class county.

I am however a proud Northumbrian, funny how these things work.

Call me an idiot but I don't want any footy rivalries coming into dccc, and am quite happy for mags to support the club, more fans the merrier, it's their closest 1st class and many of them will come from co durham.

Wish people wouldn't wear tops to the cricket, it's got nowt to do with footy

Call it tribalistic if you will but que sera... You cant laugh & berate mackems this sunderland that in one breath then the next, cling onto Durham Cricket Club imho but there you go.

Hall nicked Ice Hockey, Basketball & Rugby from south of the tyne - its a wonder he never got his hands on the cricket team.
