The BCCI have rearranged India's schedule so that the "little master" can play his 200th Test at home. There are reports in India that Tendulkar will choose which ground the match is played on. But should schedules be dictated by individual landmarks or is it simply the case that in India Tendulkar is bigger than the game

From TMS Facebook page.

Doesnt surprise me.

When India played at Durham he was a right prima donna. Irrespective of how good a player he is he clearly had little humility and wouldn't sign many of the kids autographs. He walked straight past them.

I also have to say that Indian fans themselves were cringeworthy. We sat in amongst them and they'd go mental at the slightest thing. A leg bye was greeted as though they had won the match. Bizarre behaviour.

I like their passion but they are not real fans some of them as you seen how little Test Cricket gets in terms of crowds.

I wasn't at the last ODI v India at Durham but was at the one before it when Tendulkar got a century.

Agree about the Indian fans. Even back then they went wild over every run scored by their team.

I was at the game in 2002 (Tendulkars ton??) and was sat with loads of India fans and as you have said they were stir crazy at the slightest hint of a run. I said to one of them "You dont watch much cricket do you??"
