LVCC D1 - Durham v Sussex

I was meaning for today. When i looked yesterday (BBC site) it forecast showers on and off all day. Now it's showing no rain till 6 o'clock.

Aye, but bat on and we're getting bowled out in the worst conditions of the day instead of them

So we should declare before start of play? I think so. I was suggesting yesterday that we should have declared an hour from stumps. I little premature i feel after seeing the improved forecast.

Ten minutes notice. Have The Colonal put his pads on and get Scotty to bowl a few in the nets, while secretly have Bunny and Rushy warming up indoors. 10.20, inform the Umps and get out there.

Declare and get them in, treat it like it is the start of the 4th day. Durham have to win this match. You have to play the weather game in county cricket as you play 5 days a week for nearly six months. They have had a right result with the weather for the first 3 days use it. With next two matches at Derby then back at the Riverside getting towards the back end of September this might be the best chance to win a match for the rest of the season. Draws and missing out on loads of bonus points will not win the championship from here.

Can only assume we are going to have a thrash, i just hope we are not taking a chance with the weather as it looks pretty certain to be hoying it down all day tomorrow.[DOUBLEPOST=1378373318][/DOUBLEPOST]And remember they have to win also to have any chance of winning the league.

My Sky Sports Cricket Score Centre app hasn't got our batsmen in red anymore. This indicates not out batsmen so I am ASSUMING we've declared.

how do I sign up for one of these MSSCSC app thingies?
I could do which tells me the exact opposite of what is actually the case

heading there now

HAAWAAAY THE DOMS!!!

Looking a good decision now tbf

You have to worry that the spark has gone from the pitch

Sussex's only hope of saving this is dragging it out to tomorrow but I think they'll be gone by stumps tonight.
