Great position to be in. I don't expect them to bat as poorly second time around and it is still a great track but we have given ourselves a decent chance.

fair enough we should win. I still think its a great track and the likes of Williamson, Bairstow and Ballance and are all capable of massive scores. Getting Ballance out the way we did was a huge help first time around.

Great track it may be, but not many teams at county level can bat for 5 sessions, even including us in the first innings.
Ok, they don't need to bat the full 5 sessions, but for at least as long as we did.
What a morning session that was! Been pretty busy at work like so missed most of the action. At Lunch mind is have half considered batting again. A one session slog could easily have got our lead up to 470 or so and then had 4 sessions to go hard at them.
The only concerns now are that I don't think they'll bat as badly again and I still think the pitch is good for batting. Would hate us to be in a position late tomorrow where they're say 100 ahead and we only have 10 overs to get them.
May have to call upon the spirit of Trent Bridge!
Anyway, atleast we've pissed the bonus point battle!

The first session Yorkshire have won since the opening morning. 4 more to go.
Tea comes at a good time for us. They have to play themselves in again. Gives us a chance to regroup and press again.

Despite what others are saying I still think Durham need to play great cricket to win this match. Two internationals in bat now, one more to come and both Gale and Ballance are top drawer. Getting 20 wickets on that pitch with a relatively inexperienced attack would be a brilliant achievement and no disgrace or disaster if they fail to do so.
Was off the field for a while after lunch apparently but he's back on now. Probably have to wait a bit before he's allowed to bowl.

Think you're spot on. Another factor is the potential tiredness of the bowlers. Both sides have to stick at it and Durham just need to remember our first innings collapse with Yorkshire remembering how some solid batting has taken them to the top of the table.
Think tomorrow will be exciting even if the game reaches a stalemate by teatime.
