Why on earth did the club book a hotel where a wedding was being held. After all its not the best thing for preparation for a game with a disco etc going on in to the early hours. Doubt the players would of had an undisturbed night despite what the club says

firstly i reckon there's a wedding in just about every hotel in the UK on any given weekend and secondly it did't do any harm in '73...

yeah, but if it wasn't a wedding it would be an engagement, birthday, conference etc... part and parcel of the hotel game i reckon. sounds like this was just one of those things where a few fuckwits chose an opportunity to act like fuckwits....
