The main issue is that the team were woken from their sleep the night before a game. With the exception of Celustka who will just have some energy drinks, broken sleep can have an affect on the performance of the team today.

why would they even be mixing..a wedding would be a in a private room surely..the players wouldnt even be in there

sounds like somebody trying to make some money...and why 3am..perhaps the guests were making too much noise and there were objections by the playing staff

Why the fuck would a player on thousands a week nick a f***ing iphone, they all no doubt have at least one any ffs. Hope di canio knacked them. Love to gan into battle with paolo like.

I can see Paolo standing in reception in his sponge Bob pj's asking them to turn down 'Agadoo' as his lads can't sleep.
 
I stayed at the Roker Hotel last match I was up for. Southampton, as it happens.
There was a wedding party that went on all effing night. It's happened at other hotels I've stayed in too, and the guests are usually loud mouth chavs. I'm going to stick with B&B's now, as hotels have been well and truly hijacked by the wedding industry.
