People in the North are not necessarily friendlier than people in the South.

Definitely less introverted, if not more friendly.

One thing I have noticed is when southerners that come up here for whatever reason for any considerable period of time is they're always surprised at how strangers will walk past each other in the street and say "alright" to each other.

Apparently it just doesn't happen down south.

Northerners (in general) are more gregarious and have more of a laugh. Obviously, the differences aren't massive and some northerners are absolute boring cunts.

There's always exceptions, but based on my admittedly limited travels around the UK I've found that we are in fact more friendly.
