you said the EXTRA tv money was to pay the debt you knacker therefore we would still be running at a massive loss so where is the extra money from transfers coming from?.

Here you go again....I was clarifying that as far as I recollected Margaret Byrne had said the increase in tv money would be used to pay down debt.

we were running at a massive loss before the extra tv money.

Mainly due to wages as far as I can recall? Something about the percentage of turnover going on wages.

Anyway, the fact is that no-one knows - you can act like you do - but you're just setting yourself up for a fall if we go out and spend another 10m. Although maybe that would still fall within the range of having no money? I don't know.

Personally I'm not that bothered as it's something I can't change. But I suspect that you are not even close on this one mate. Good luck fighting everyone else though.

As I said, I think Mavrias will come. I think Perruzzi will come (eventually) and I think we'll spend some more on a LB and CM at least, but possibly one or two more on top of that. You can post a little laugh as much as you want though, it must be quite a superior feeling you have being so sure that you are correct and everyone else is wrong! enjoy it.

Yes but the midfield playmaker is going to cost a load of money, not to mention whatever the likes of Peruzzi and Cissokho get. They'll be on more than £4m per year between them.

You don't seem to understand how money works.

transfer fees arent a problem apparently.

are you saying that our new signings combined will be on more money than-

alf,graham,saha,mcfadden,mangane,meyler,campbell,k illgallon,bramble,elmo combined?.

if so i think it is you that is struggling with the finances.

mate ignore him hes a cretin, it was blatantly obvious what everyone meant and it was straight forward common sense regarding the wage bill and what you said about the sky money. he just jumps from one thing to another to get a reaction. he makes it up as he goes along. he definitely sits wanking over this shit in his small bed room too.

quinny made it abundantly clear many moons ago that wages cripple clubs, transfer fees can be spread out over years. we could go and buy someone tomorrow for 15 million, but pay 5 million over the next three years out of sky money and sponsorship.

the balancing of the books is the wages, its a constant outgoing which has to be balanced against any lump sums that come in during the summer and then the revenue made over the course of the season.

well in a round about way I think that's how it works ha

i have said this since before the season ended and have seen nothing to change my mind if anything alf leaving on loan only strengthens my belief.

The ignore feature really needs improving.

What's the point in hiding someones posts if they still show up in full everytime someone quotes him

Firstly, we don't know what percentage of Graham and N'Diaye's wages Hull and Eskisehirspor are paying. Secondly, Meyler, Campbell, McFadden and Saha left the club 7 months ago.

That leaves Mangane, Kilgallon and Bramble, as Elmohamady was at Hull for most of last season (and again we don't know what percentage of his wages were being paid by Hull).

There is no way of knowing if our wages are up or down from last season, either way with so much dead wood still at the club, the club are right to prioritise the 3 most important positions.

Carrying on this 'pretending to be a Sunderland fan nonsense' for so long is not normal. You should go for a mental health check-up.

a large bin bag, some bricks, a length of rope, and a deep stretch of water is whats needed.

what you do with all these things though is totally up to your imagination for our good friend

I'm not sure how this 4m is calculated. Is it from the start of the season? Over the entire season? Over the financial year? Is şt just players in the 25 man squad?

Either way I would imagine that the total for a few of those players, having been only under contract for a short period, would be less than imagined.

I'm pretty sure meyler, kilgallon, elmo wouldn't have been on huge wages. Saha, alf, Graham, mcfadden, mangane and campbell were all short-term.

So although we have brought in 9 and let go of 9 as you have posted there, you may have to make adjustments to your calculations tbh. I'm not saying it would make up the shortfall completely, because again I don't know the figures. Just putting it out there.

still last seasons wage bill.

werent you the one saying the new players are on far less than their predecessors and that is where our new model is paying off?.

the evidence is right in front of you whether you choose to see it or not we are on a cost cutting strategy and it is there for all to see.

this also.

Nobody knows why this is happening...maybe they thought Bardsley and Vaughan at least would have gone by this week...without a mention of Mcclean and a few others.
We must have reduced the wage bill by a considerable amount with around 8 players leaving since January...then add in Graham Mig etc.
When you look at the playing staff in the link the midfield is stuffed with players yet around 8 will be required in total for cover etc.
The defence is well short...even the attack hinges on a fit Fletcher for competition...lots of work to do yet.

Shouldn't be so sensitive as to need to block someone then

Nowt sensitive about deciding a poster is a wum and you don't want to engage with them.

Bit gutted if it's the wages that scupper this deal, was looking forward to seeing Mavrias rather than McClean on the bench.
