Want a Derby win tonight I reckon.

We need two wins from our last two, if Derby do win tonight then we can qualify if Notts or Lancs lose both their last two - they play each other on Sunday.

Edit - Derby 87-0 (6.4 overs) in a 9 over game :-)

Is it that bad if Notts win? It'll keep Derby out of contention for 2nd/3rd spot

We've got Derby to play so we'll take care of them ourselves - if we don't then we're out.

We need one of Notts/Lancs to lose their next game - then whoever loses (if one of them does) we need them to also lose when the two sides meet. Ideally both would lose their game this week - Lancs tomorrow v Yorks, Notts on Friday also v Yorks - then if that occurred we'd go through if we were to win both of our games.

As for best third place, I can't be arsed working it out but I think we could, possibly qualify ahead of the third placed team in the Mid/West/Wales group, depending on a variety of outcomes in the remaining games in that one.

If we lose any of our two games then forget all the above cause we'd be fucked. Proper fucked (Before zee Germans get there).

Derby lost, so our game with them on Sunday is now a dead rubber for them - could make it slightly easier, hopefully they put the second team out

Pretty much need a miracle now with the way the other groups have gone tonight. What is guaranteed is we need to beat Derbyshire, if we don't do that we're out. If we do, the following is what we need.

The best 2, third placed teams will progress. So we need either the Mid/West/Wales 3rd placed team to finish on 11 or fewer points OR the South 3rd placed team to finish on 11 or fewer points. For that to happen, the following needs to occur.

MWW Group - Tomorrow, Worcestershire host Somerset. If the hosts win, then Glamorgan must lose their last game at home to Gloucester (Tuesday).

If Somerset win at Worcester tomorrow then Warwickshire host Somerset on Tuesday and Somerset must win that, along with Glamorgan losing, to ensure our passage to the Quarters 8-)

South Group - Essex (home to Surrey) have to lose, as do Middlesex (away to Hampshire) on Wednesday.

So, pretty simple equation really

And yes, I do have far too much f***ing time on my hands

I haven't factored in the Great British weather either by the way...... Fuck

Or ties, but ties verily are ok for us..... I think.

Actually no, Essex can't tie or be rained off. Or we're fucked. Middlesex can though. As can anyone in the MWW group.
