Best local cricket ground is

South Northumberland is probably the best I've played at.

Other stand out ones are probably Sunderland, CLS, Durham City and Jesmond.

Castle Eden is nice...had the shortest boundary ive seen like

Peterlee's new pavillion is nice and the changing rooms are top class.

played a many times postponed cup tie there on a rainy night, one of those must finish the game at all costs because of a fixture pile up. It was raining horizontally coming over the hill top and straight into your eyes when you were batting and that was in July.
Only one worse than Lands in Spennymoor

Shotley Bridge is pretty stunning. Felling is the best viewing ground.

You never watched cricket at Whitburn, Durham, Hetton Lyons, Boldon, Ryhope or Ashbrooke?

Felling is nice but my preferred ground for batting would be Hetton Lyons and for watching it would be Whitburn.

Unless you like churches and cemetries then it would be Burnmoor!!
