What are you going for?

I fancy a little dabble with series outcome & top scoring batsmen for the series etc.

Eng runs: Pietersen
Aus runs: Warner

Eng wickets: Anderson
Aus wickets: Siddle

3-1 England

Think it will be a lot closer than some are predicting. The weather will probably wipe out one match, England are likely to collapse at least once handing the Aussies a victory. 2 or 3 -1 for me

Backing Australia to win 1st test at 3/1

England are often poor starters and think people are underestimating this Aussie side a bit. Don't get me wrong England are rightly favourites but I think 3/1 is excellent value.

Pretty decent record at TB tho m8.

Jimmy loves it there and it's Broad n Swann on home ground.

I expect us to take this one.

But you've still got to risk a decent wedge to make it worthwhile.

Unpatriotic but the Aussies to win the series a 9/2 looks decent to me. I do not think we are as good as what some think and the Aussies are not as bad.
Swann is the massive difference and would not be surprised if Flower and Cook ask for 5 dry turning pitches.

Australia rely on Clarke and Watson for runs. If they fail, then not sure where they will get enough runs from to put pressure on England. Recalling the likes of Rodgers and Haddin smacks of desperation - bit like taking Gatting and Gooch on the 94/95 tour.

If Swann stays fit then he and Anderson will be key.

I reckon KP is in for a big series too

Don't know why but got a feeling Hughes might score runs in this series. Was really impressed with him at The Riverside when he got that ton for Worcester. I think he will benefit as a leftie working with Diva. Got to work out a way to play Swann.

Will Hughes even play? Think Rodgers and Watson will open, with Cowan and Clarke at 3&4 - might Hughes sneak in at 5?
