How often does this happen

Three wicket in three balls at ECC last night

Young Rad bowled the opening batsman
New batsman came in and drove the ball to mid wicket where he was dropped the fielder picked the ball up through the ball back to the bowler who ran the non striker out
Third ball in all the chaos next batsman was bowled out

Never heard of this happening before???:-D

I've seen it happen twice this season

Think he is getting at the way three wickets have gone down in as many balls but its the top 3 out rather than 1,3 and 4 as it would usually be

It was two wickets by the bowler with a run out in the middle that I haven't heard of before

Or does he just mean 3 wickets from the first 3 balls?

It was two wickets by the bowler with a run out in the middle that I haven't heard of before

Also the run out was a dropped catch that would have made it a hat trick.
