Damn it. Missed all the fun this afternoon and just seen the result. Reads like a great couple of sessions and beats odi's easily.

Hope we can keen the form going. Richardson proved his worth massively. Has to stay in the team now.

Unreal

There's some good sides in this division, but we're one of them

If we had another decent allrounder id play them
Ahead of Will Smith & bat Richardson 5 imho

What a relief. I had to keep updated through my phone. Thought we had it wrapped up when they needed 80 at 7 down, then the 50 partnership had me panicking. Great result.

What a season! If only we didn't lose overs to the weather in previous games.

weather evens itself out over the season i think

what we need is for colly n stokes to step up with the bat if we are to win it

Need Yorkshire and Sussex to slip up somewhere

Cannot see Yorkshire slipping up. Have the best squad in the country by a mile. Managed to win by 10 wickets this week minus 3 England players and Gary Balance, Jack Brooks and Moin Ashraf all absent through injury.

We already have borthwick and stokes who are two of the best allrounders on the county circuit right now. Surely it doesn't need a third to get smith out of the team! Another batter would be enough to get rid of him. Or bowler. Or all rounder.

Benkenstein when fit?

But for Rooks heroics at the Riverside we would be 20+ points clear at the half way mark and we gave them all a small head start. Had we won that game we would be on 5 wins with the next best being 3.

When you add in our form at the end of last season, I reckon nobody else has played as well as us for so long. Keep that form going and we will be very hard to stop and could well regain the trophy.

This

Feel a bit sorry for Essex. Nobody pays a blind bit of attention to county cricket, but today it's all over the media

Sussex looking unlikely winners, all good

Can this become a 2 horse race?

And in fairness you have never been one to big up Yorkshire players way beyond their ability.

Its great news that we are getting results whilst some continually flatter to deceive with the bat, especially Collingwood who should be a huge player for us & a shoe in to contribute 1,000 runs a season imho.
