so the pre-sale for the ashes tix is on soon and the best way to secure tix is to be part of the 'australian cricket family'. so if any of you are looking to travel here for the ashes and have or have access to an aussie email address and residential address then get registered in the next couple of weeks to be guaranteed tix to any test....

hahaha.... yeah that was a nightmare.

the difference between sydney day 5 that time and sydney day 5 last time was somewhat surreal...

all part of sport and life i suppose.

Looking at the BA forum Perth is the only one that'll be a hard ticket. Quite fancy Perth and Adelaide although what they've done to the Adelaide Oval is shocking.

which is strange as that's the smallest ground and full of pom expats. the demand last time was insane, tix were sold out in less than an hour for all 4 days of the sydney an melb tests.

doesn't seem to be as much hype this time around so yeah maybe not so much demand but i'm not taking any chances. i'm pretty fussy these days also so want to get first dibs on the seats i want.

I got tickets no problem last series for Adelaide and Brisbane by contacting the grounds direct-and a hell of a lot cheaper than what we pay here for an Ashes test.
