could watching any england ODI from the last 20 years this - f***ing hope Butler comes off here

What annoyed me was that In the last game against NZ Butler was left not out.

Any innings where Butler is not out means he should of been in earlier.

Nightmare this, looks to me like Giles has took the team backwards to me.

Game over. Time for Giles to have a re think. Doubt he will though having come from the Fletcher era.

I'd love it if Nasser and Botham were commentating. I'd be like a 'PF' meltdown.

Predictable.

Amazed people were backing this approach only an hour or so ago. Times have moved on, but Giles and co have not.

The whole innings has been built up praying Buttler comes in and scores big

If he doesn't we are completely fucked.

I actually think though Giles may think, Morgan and Butler let us down, when its actually the exact opposite.

It's too predictable. Every single other country has a weapon in their top 3 but we just have pedestrian test batsmen. They're all very good but not at one day level. Far too often it's left to the middle order to get us out of a hole. Only chance we have left is we get Watson and Warner early

No problem with Trott, that's his role, and he's good at it.

Why do Cook and Bell have to bat the same way though?
trott bats for himself and his figures cook should never have been appointed ODI captain as he is a test player.

No other side has 3 test players in there top 3 yet we do.

Agree as well

Agree as well

Pakistan only made 170 yesterday and West Indies barely reached it, South Africa didn't get near to Indias totally and Oz were bowled out for 65 a few days ago.

Perspective?
