Is the ground fit to play on yet?? Eppleton under 11s have a game there Sunday morning and if its not quite right not sure if they'd want any junior games played:-?

Yes.

They were due to play a 3rd team game there last night but the rain intervened. First team play there tomorrow night and Saturday. My lad will be playing in the U11 game on Sunday v Eppleton.

Duncan, the CLS CC Groundsman, has performed a minor miracle and the pitch looks to be in a condition that I didnt think possible just a month ago. No wonder he is so highly regarded.

Colonel. Sam got a shock when you said hello:shock:

He said your team were very good.. he never took any photos as he left his memory card at home

Been down the last two days and about to head down again in about 10 minutes. Really enjoyed it, Friday night especially

The pitch is phenomenal given how it was even three weeks ago - right out on the boundary is still a bit patchy but for the most part it's excellent. Three weeks ago it just looked like a mudheap

Yes looked him up in the scorebox, nice lad.

It was a good game which CLS CC U11's ran our winners. Layla once more looked the part and was asked by the bloke who runs CLS CC Womens Team whether she would like to play for them after the game.

Hope she takes the offer up.

Saw her Grandad and Dad (should be a great grandad and grandad by now:-))at the third division game at ECC

They said CLS ladies team had asked if she would like to come and join.. I think she will, they are a fabulous family.

She is playing 11s 13s and 15s boys at Eppleton and does not look out of place in any of the teams:-)
