The trick is to let your mates in first. Go to one of the walls and hoy the booze over in a bag.

Then you can go through afterwards.

Jobs a good 'un.

Going to be a cracking week. Just booked up for me and the bairn to go to Lords too see the first 3 days of Durham play Middlesex the weekend before the test match.

Got my ticket confirmations last week. My Dad and I are in Row Z (back row?) of the NES stand - am assuming that is the North East Terrace down at Long Leg?

Think I may have to smuggle a couple of cans in if it's £4 a pint like!!

Does anyone know how well the Ashes T20 is selling.

I'm guessing it's not great if the club had to give back some international games saying it would be hard to sell 2 in a year.

What would be the best stand for...

A. View
B. Atmosphere

Quite a few available now range up today, just not sure where to go for.

Any tips?

The new stand will be the pissed-est (North East Terrace?). Generally not as loud as the other non-London grounds though I hear.

The top tier of the County Durham stand is the best view IMO.

Indeed, although if there is any kind of wind around, it's not the best place to sit.
