Richardson has shook off the early season dip and picked up another 100 today, closely followed by Jennings with a ton also. Hopefully the pair of them are giving Cook some serious selection headaches.

Jennings must still be close to a run in the side, perhaps in the lower-middle order

When Stokes gets back to bowling, we could bring Jennings in for Thorp or Wood.

That would leave us Onions, Rushworth, Stokes, Wood/Buckley/Thorp/Breese (depending on pitch) Borthwick as main bowlers and Colly/Benks and even Jennings himself to fill in overs.

Jennings 133 from 123 balls, 11 boundaries and 2 Sixes. Richardson 129 from 124, 10 boundaries and 3 sixes. 296 for 3 at the end of their 45 overs.

Jennings has been in cracking form for Stockton as well who are doing really well in the NEPL. However for now his chance might have been lost as he didnt really cover himself in glory early on this season.

As for Richardson? He must be wondering what he has to do to get a place in the side.

Would be canny for Richardson to get a game on Sunday at Hampshire in the YB 40.

I'd like to see Richardson given a chance too but it's starting to look harder and harder to leave a batsman out of the side.
