Sure we'll get some games in this summer mate. Just the whole Littletown thing has taken a lot of the players' time up. Last time I spoke to him Aleem Dar was still planning to get some fixtures in.
 
No league this year, not enough interest from other teams - only 3 interested. Others who expressed interest last year haven't followed through.

No ground as Council won't do us a deal for a game by game hire and want circa 90 quid per game. Struggled to get 16 games in last season so didn't want to book for the season.

And as Tom said, no players. Most people playing for other teams (most went to Littletown) and/or lost interest all together (me, Andy P?); or simply have other, more important stuff going on in their lives.

Will try and get a couple of friendlies going to keep the team going but we're already struggling as it is so need fresh blood to start playing.

Ah kwl, last i heard was the talk of trying to get the games at littletown but cheers for the work anyway AD.

Tom - try and get them friendlies in for August ;-)

I think once we get the wicket up and running at littletown we might be able to host some games, as it stands i dont think the wicket can withstand the number of games on it with a midweek team.

Sure they are having a league up here - also could apply to some of the social teams as well like TVOR mentioned.

We will be fine for players I'm sure. Andy P is still playing too :-)
 
Once we get to June our square a littletown should be almost there, even without the side that's not bat-able at present the difference the past two weeks under germination sheets has been phenomenal (with minimal water). We have 3 wickets cut for games which are looking real good at min and 2 practice wickets already.

Should the SMB want a game I'm sure there is something we can do. I'll hoy it on agenda for next committee meeting. It's something I'm keen on perusing not only for SMB but my work team team too. ultimately its all extra money for the club and you guys already have an affiliation with many members so will be looked after (certainly no where near 90quid a game that for sure)

Unfortunately i cant make it this Friday Tom but please keep me posted for any other midweek games.
Looking forward to visiting Littletown and seeing how thinks have progressed, passed it just as things were starting so will definately see great improvements.
 
I wouldn't mind a game Friday as I can play Saturday due to work. Am available for the Sunday though. Giz a text and let me know.
