absolutely, he's having a great time the point being though if he can perform here why can't we...

i think we expected to turn up, win the series and meander back home.
 

This has been horrendous. Team spirit, attitude, everything looks shite.


Its been as bad a series as i can remember for a fair amount of years. At least Pakistan had a decent spinner.

We need motivation. We've played this series like it's a warm up. We turn up for the the big games. It's what sets us apart from the All-conquering Australian team from the 2000s

We're missing Swann. Big time. The 3 quicks are as good as we have and as good an attack as you'll see anywhere. Shame we have the new Richard Illingworth supporting them
 
Well that session was a complete and utter load of crap!

I just hope to fuckery we're positive when we bat. May as well get out having a go and trying to score some f***ing runs than going into our shell and being bowled out for 150.
 
As bad a series as i can remember. At least against Pakistan we could claim that the batsmen were done by good spin bowling. As for the 5-0 they had a great team.

This lot has Southee, Boult, Martin, Wagner, Fulton, Brownlie, Watling....

Broad,Finn, Panesar, Bell, Root All underperformed
Anderson looks like he needs a break
Prior, Cook, Trott, Compton- Have all done well

Need to look at, Tremlett, Onions, Harris, Tredwell, Kerrigan before the Ashes series.

With Stokes, Chopra getting a chance in the 1 day team ahead of Australia trip.

From seeing him try and face the new ball in the first couple of tests the bloke looks like a club cricketer. But, as you say, we've made him look brilliant.

The only reason he's out is he got to 100 and started playing a shot a ball.
 
227-5 doesn't sound so bad, but when we had them 8-3 it's absolute rubbish. If we somehow manage to survive this test and get a draw then New Zealand will have been robbed. This has been embarrassing.

2-1. Compton gone. This could be all over today.
 
I would be a bit sick if I had gone over there to watch that, the 5-0 was bad enough :-|

The Kiwi bowlers are bowling a far better length.

I bet Martin feels like Shane Warne today, 5 round the bat :lol:
