I just googled Auckland Rain (and made sure it was NZ - not Bishop!).

How will a drawn series affect the World Ranking? England shouldn't lose points for example for rain affected draws :-?

Is he even there? Talk on the wireless earlier was of either Bairstow or Woakes :neutral:. Morgan didn't even get a mention.

I'd personally move Bell to 4, Root to 5 and put Bairstow in.

That's a good point. Although I still think he'll be in the squad for the home NZ Test Matches - just on the basis that nobody else will have played any (much) cricket before then.

As much as confidence is high for the Ashes, if you take KP from our line up we look vulnerable in the middle order IMO. Hopefully Root hits some form soon, would hate to see us chop and change right up to the first Ashes Test.
