Just looked on this new site domestic cricket forum and on the Durham thread it has the squad for 2013 and this years development contract players. There appears to be 4 this year
A. Arshad
P. Coughlin
R. singh
R. Pringle
Just wondering if anyone knows much about them. I would imagine they are academy players. I watched the academy play a twenty/20 club match last season but don't remember those names playing.
 

Arshad will be playing for Chester le Street this year in the NEPL.

Rami Singh is a great lad. Come through the ranks and IIRC plays for a team over Newcastle way where he lives. Make his first team debut last season v Australia A. Normally bats well up the order, number 3 or so.

Ryan Pringle has been around for a while as well. He did play for Hetton Lyons but not sure where he plays now.

Coughlin also well known.
 
All well known names, and all promising players.

Coughlin and Singh played in the Australia A game

The club have got some decent youngsters on their books and given the fact we're skint, I hope more youngsters get a chance this season

Rami was at Benwell but is captaining Gateshead Fell this year.
Pringle is still at the Lyons, bats 3 there and bowls off spin.
Coughlin was at South North last season, not sure if he still is.

Scored summit like 90 at Ropery Lane the season before last and was well on his way to a great hundred when he got a shocking decision. Canny player.

Durham are putting a lot of effort into their youth prospects at the minute. Quite rightly too. We've produced the likes of Colly, Harmy and Onions and irrespective of what you might think of lads like Harmison they have undoubtedly gone on to be players of international quality.

It shows we can and do develop quality players of our own.

Aye Ryan's still with the Lyons, missed a bit of last season due to injury but still did well.

Both Hetton lads
