Meltdown in the Aussie Camp

Just been reading that Shane Watson is thinking of packing cricket in. If he isn't in the Ashes squad then the Aussies are screwed.
Thought the coaches job was to gel the team together not split it. Arthur is a total prick. When he was SAFFA coach didn't they lost a 1 day game because he didn't know the rules?
Cant see him doing that TBH. Sounded to me (reading between the lines) as though he was perhaps thinking of concentrating on 20/20 until Arthur fucks off.

Agreed . . Excellent chance for two comfortable ashes victories over the next 12 months. . .providing we turn up like

May have a bet on an England whitewash. Then again also being a SAFC supporter I should know better by now. Just because it looks great news it never is !!!

Do we know if they managed to get citizenship/Aussie passport for that Pakistani spinner?

How times change.

Hopefully Micky Arthur won't be leaving until both Ashes series are over then. :-D
It looks an almighty mess brewing. I'd ask MDV what the craic is but he plays his cards very close to his chest and wouldnt spill the beans. :-?

MDV cannot say much. If he did he will be out of a job he's just started. Think he'll be keeping his head down and just getting on with his job. Don't blame him either.

I have Justin Langer as a friend on face book I might ask he what's going on :-)

Give him a shout VoR. Even he probably cannot believe it. Listened to Alan Border on the radio and he was going berserk about it. Mark Waugh's comments were also slagging off the coach. :-D

Don't think there is any love lost between Watson and Clark. Watson was desperate for the captaincy when Ponting started standing down as one day captain and then test captain. At the time there was problems with Clarks form and fitness even though he had been ear marked for the job for sometime.
Also think Watson was in the Katich camp (most of the players where) when he and Clark had the punch up about not singing the team song after a Aussie victory.

Says it will all come reet for the ashes in his last status : lol:

When England played the Aussies up here in a ODI last year, he was the only player who didn't sign autographs.

I lost a lot of respect for him at that point.

Grow up man, why should he sign an autograph?

If it's good enough for The Greatest Sportsman of All Time...

Muhammed Ali has (almost surely) signed more autographs than any other human being in history. He never turns down an autograph request because, when he was a boy, one of his boxing heroes refused to sign one for him. What was the name of the boxer who wouldn't sign an autograph for him?
Sugar Ray Robinson. When young Cassius Clay asked Robinson for his autograph, he was told, 'I ain't got time.' Ali never forgot this, and even now has a P.O. box for fans to send autograph requests to.

It's just an autograph

Gary Rowell didn't stop to sign one for me once, doesn't stop him being a hero of mine

It boils my piss. These young uns come to the ground with their autograph books only to be snubbed by these big-time charlies.

When England played WIs in the first England match at the Riverside, Brian Lara signed for the kids. they punched the air when they got it. That's how much it meant to them.

Rob Key was another one, but then again i don't think coming so far up the country agrees with him.

I really hope the Indians can get enough of a lead quickly enough to go on and win this.

And with more dogshite bowling like that from Steve Smith they should manage it comfortably
