C'mon Airdrie FC.

Most people in Scotland have a favourite English team and Sunderland are one of the better supported teams up here due to geography/family connections. So are Newcastle.

As for disliking the English it's nonsense. Vast majority of English folk love it p here. Granted some don't like the English national team but the fact of the matter is most couldn't give a flying fuck about England.

This.
Apart from the Airdrie shite.

I can see where your coming from, used to have the same attitude when I was following Ayr up and down the country.
Life happens, I woke up one day with 3 kids, a finite amount of cash and I had fallen out of love with my home town team.

As I said I fully accept I'm an outsider, I'll never be standing in a Sunderland boozer post match chatting away with guys I grew up with about the team I just watched, I'll be sloping off to a car to drive back up the road. Follower of results might be a bit light, but whatever, I see where your coming from.

Nothing wrong with that but you support Ayr. You're an Ayr fan. If Ayr played us you should want yous to f***ing hammer us. Would you ever walk into a boozer and if asked after an Ayr game say that you support Ayr but Love Safc just as much to some Ayr fans?

I wouldn't take it to heart mate
some of the people on here who are sitting in judgement of other miss loads of home games for the flimsiest of reasons.

You made a decision to follow Sunderland - so to me you are one of us. I think the point is more aimed at the tossers who refer to the Auld Firm clubs as "Us" or "my team" - which is fine by me as long as said tossers don't call themselves Sunderland Supporters because clearly they are not

people having a go at lauder makes no sense, the guy goes home and away with sunderland,he follows rangers also as his father brought him up supporting rangers but hes also a massive sunderland fan.why people are having a go at a fellow sunderland fan is beyond me

Because he's a Rangers fan and the amount of stick he doles out on this board claiming he is a better Sunderland fan than most is ridiculous.

I can understand British, even English supporting rangers.

They must be mentally ill to support celtic though.

Lauder acts like a complete twat on here at times, which is odd as I know him in real life and he has always been canny.

not sure he does that mate, alot of people may disagree with him but most would agree hes a massive sunderland fan
He called himself a superfan tbf

whats he like
From my experience a daft lad nice lad wouldn't harm a fly, he's a bit of a keyboard warrior on here.

He's a member of me supporters branch and been to an away game with him once before just me and him as he was near me at uni.

just think people having a go at him for not been a real sunderland fan is daft, one of the biggest sunderland fans i know and a big poster on here has been been going to sunderland games home and away for years and so has his family,he spends thousands of pounds following sunderland but he also follows celtic, doesnt mean hes any less of a sunderland fan though

Ya mean the huns mate i'm the celtic fan ;-)

You can't support 2 teams you'll have to like one more than the other. The thing a hate about it is when the (Celtic/Sunderland fans) come on here and just talk about Celtic non stop, go on a Celtic message board for fucks sake.

so when we last played Rangers at Ibrox, we lost 3-1 and Steve Bould scored an og, who did Lauder want to win?

I wasn't old enough to support either team. I was probably following Rangers more at the time because I was 8 or 9 before I took interest in Sunderland.

I think supporting any Scottish club other than Celtic Is fair enough.

Being English/ British and supporting Celtic is like coming from Sunderland/county Durham and being a mag, probably worse.
