Finn is getting better and better, looking good for the Ashes. Just needs to sort out that habit of clipping the stumps with his knee, just cost him a wicket.

Don't get much cricket out here so first time I have seen him, looks very average to me. Can't get his line right to left handers.

It was an awful ball, long hop outside off stump. dhoni will be kicking himself, not that it matters, easy victory in the end.

Even the Indian commentators are slating him now.

Colly is blaming the batsmen though, reckons they need to be posting around 300 on flat Indian wickets.
 
Tredwell has had a good series.

I seriously think Swann will quit ODI cricket and concentrate purely on test cricket. Especially with his two young kids.

I have watched him in the last 3 games only so I have no idea how good or bad he has been in the past but what struck me about him is he looks absolutely terrified. Bowling was poor, batted like he was holding a stick of celery and he did one of the stupidest mis-fields ever - basically underarmed the ball 10 feet over the wickie when under no pressure at all - bundle of nerves from start to finish.

Only player would jettison for a long time is Keiswetter, problem with scoring runs at Somerset is your never quite sure how good or bad a Somerset batsman is because the wickets are so true and flat

He has had a couple of years in the side, batted a few series in most spots but never quite convinced in any

Give Buttler a go for a year or so

This - I like Buttler. Got all the shots and is canny under pressure.

Totally agree, his get out of jail shot is the hoik to cow corner and that's simply not good enough at international level, he does not keep the scoreboard ticking over with clever placement and good running either.
