Yup. Apparently, according to someone on here he's no good on subcontinent pitches...

Come on out of the woodwork and admit, finally, that you were wrong...
 
I'd like to see him become England's leading wicket taker. Botham has had that honour for too long.

This is how the list stands at the moment:

Botham 383 (102 tests, ave 28.4)
Willis 325 (90 tests, ave 25.2)
Trueman 307 (67 tests, ave 21.6)
Underwood 297 (86 tests, ave 25.8)
Anderson 288 (77 tests, ave 30.4)

Anderson is averaging a little under 4 wickets per test so if he continues at that rate he would need to play another 25 test matches to beat Botham's record. I suppose that's only another 2-3 years so realistically if he stays fit it is possible.
