Why do our seamers not change the way they bowl depending on where they are playing? Yes we appear to bowl a few more scrambled seam deliveries but in the main the line they are bolwing here is the same they bowl in England. Difference being the line which is threatening in England is simply asking to be slapped in the likes of India.

We have done okay today. Run rate is below 3. Will only know how well or not India have done when we have our first innings. Although they have picked more than one spinner so.....

I noticed the run rate was quite low but they seem to be picking us off at ease at the minute.

Aye. They are playing the right way and the pitch looks do be doing nothing. If our batsmen take note we might be alright. Although I half expect our inability to play spin in the Sub will be our downfall.

The pitch suggests it will hold together for a couple more days yet, so we're going to be looking at around 350 in a day and a bit to draw the match. Do-able.

So that's an Indian declaration on around 575, England to be bowled out for about 240 1st innings, and then 190 after following on ;-)

I dinnit have alot of confidence in our batsmen whenever they play over there. I've seen them flop more times than not.

Maybe I'm just a negative bastard. We have the batsmen capable without doubt so we'll see what happens.

Or maybe just a realist, and as you say - have seen our batsmen flop more times than not over there.

Just heard them say all 7 wickets achieved with spin.

We should have had another spin bowler with hindsight.
