Sri Lanka v England

also it seems fairly strange looking back that we didnt play any limited overs stuff against sri lanka a few months ago, beggars belief actually, although seems totally indicative of the way the ecb is being ran at the minute

Another pretty woeful tournament from England. Couldnt fail to make the super 8's but a bit like the football team once they come up against anyone any good they lose.

2010 looks like a complete flash in the pan.

again the question has to be asked about how that fecker Bopara gets anywhere near an international call up. Simply not good enough.

to be fair our t20 record since 2010 is fantastic

Dont disagree, but as always, when it comes to these tournaments we always seem to make a fuckup of it.

We've been extremely average in this tournament.

Doesn't help that subcontinental pitches blatantly favour the teams from that area. Can you imagine if we had the T20 WC here in early April? India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka would be all out for about 5.

Aye but he'd concede more than that in his first over and be taken out of the attack

Wouldn't bowl though would he? Graham Onions would take the new ball and take 10 wickets in his first over.
