Sad thing is in the tests only KP and Cook are good enough to score consistently heavy over in India.

Cook will be weighed down with captaincy and KP will be commenting.

Swann has come back down to earth with a bump and as our leading spinner is worrying as he has been shown to be a decent spinner but nowt more

Some of the most arrogant fans ive come across round the world ar indians.

No it doesnt count. Hope they get their arses kicked in the other super 8 group. Aus, SA, Pak and Ind. Tough group like.

The Indian fans and players boiled my piss at the game at Durham last year. Their continual wank fest at even leg byes were ridiculous. They were just sycophantic and over the top. It was frankly embarrassing to sit in amongst them.

The players were little better and the adulation they received from the fans spilled over into their view of themselves.

Tendulkar went on like a petulant child, even though there were only about a dozen people waiting for his autograph at the nets and he walked past virtually everyone bar some other sycophant who had painted this huge painting of him and virtually kissed his feet for his signature on it.

I virtually had to hunt Dhoni down and block his way into the dressing rooms to get the bairns picture with him.

Not a great experience if I'm honest and it opened the bairns eyes to what were his heroes and ultimately tainted his view of them.

They had no answer whatsoever to the fairly average spin of the Indians. It was cringeworthy to watch.

It really doesnt bode well for the winter.

Was a couple of them griefing England fans at Trent Bridge the other Summer. Do you have any players from England? It should all be about your home country. (All said in a Brummy accent :lol:)

Well that was f***ing shit and to cap it off its pissing down here this morning.

A fair few England fans here but we're all spread out. Sri Lankans supported us in the main last night but a few were supporting India. As has been mentioned above, Indian fans are wankers. Tuk Tuk back to the hotel after the match was an interesting experience to say the least.

Off to Kandy tomorrow.
