and so you go on.

The only team that have the look of complete journeymen of the top sides are Lancashire, but their outfields and no one buggering off to England (Anderson is never at Lancs so cant be missed) helps them enormously.

MDV is in his last year at Durham although I'm assuming that Durham will give him a new contract for as long as he wants to stay, otherwise he'll be snapped up by someone else as I know for a fact that he wants to keep playing a while longer.

I wouldnt put money on it but if Lancs arent playing at outgrounds this year, id back them to get relegated

Lancashire require another 274 runs with 9 wickets remaining

Will be delighted to see them relegated.

By the way, what a cracking win for Somerset, excellent run chase that

Lancs down too?

I guess so

Yep, Lancs down if they miss out :-D
Yes, this one has kind of crept up on us today. If Lancs dont score 250 plus in about 2 hours then they are down. Here is the latest table - 3 points for a draw does nothing for them.

I'm sure that table includes batting and bowling points from this game.

Yep it does.

Only 39 overs apparently

Yorkshire looking good for promotion as Hampshire have lost against Essex and can only draw level with Yorkshire. It's between Derybshire, Yorkshire and Kent for promotion now

304 in 39 overs or by 6.00pm or they're down.

Not really on verge, as Kent are gonna beat Derbys and then have Glamorgan in final game

All up for grabs innit. Yorks may need to win the last game

Should be a good end to the season.

Potentially some decent away trips next season

Headingly, Trent Bridge, Oval, Lords (obviously depending on venues I guess as it could be at Scarborough, Uxbridge etc)
