IF Surrey win that will put them 38 points ahead of Lancs, meaning Lancs will be pretty much relegated as I cannot see them winning against Middlesex

unplayable at taunton according to reports

Quick look at his figures suggests otherwise, struggling again at Hove.

Anyhow, Lancs' future will be decided this afternoon. 120 behind with 5 wickets left they need to be 100 ahead by the close to have any chance of forcing a win tomorrow, so they need to push on which will inevitably lead to wickets falling. Middlesex having nothing to play for won't help.

You saying relegating Lancs is nowt to play for?

could get interesting at the bottom. lancs in with a bit of a shout after taking an early wicket and somerset are going well in their run chase against Surrey

They did excellent to get up to parity in that afternoon session and have given themselves a shot.....

ignore my somerset run chase vs surrey :oops: looking at the wrong game.

Surrey lead by 252 runs with 5 wickets remaining vs Notts.

All eyes on the Surrey game now I guess as the Lancs game looks like a nailed on draw unless Middlesex declare to give Lancs a "sporting" run chase. Middlesex lead by 222 runs with 6 wickets remaining

Nottinghamshire require another 281 runs with 8 wickets remaining to beat Surrey
