can't help but think if kevin pietersen had made a spoof stuard broad twitter account and broad had sent a few texts that pietersen would still be the bad guy here
 

Sending texts critical of your own team mate to the opposition including tips on how to get him out (which they may or may not have worked out for themselves) is far worse than having a good humoured, cheeky dig at one of your team mates on Twitter so I can't agree with you there.

I don't want to see KP banished forever but he needs a bit of time away from the squad to realise the severity of his misdemeanours. They should all get together though and thrash this out behind closed doors and then move on.

honest question - is any of the details of the context of the text/s actually confirmed by reputable sources or is it still just the daily mail throwing mud?

They are all like a bunch of kids, they need to sit round a table sort it out and grow up. Get the best 11 players out there playing for England.

Maybe there's actually a lot more to it than the ECB have reported, and it was decided for everyone involved it was best not to say any more.

aye maybe, or there's nowt in it but the rags have to shift there pages of crap so create controversy where there is none.

i've seen a suggestion, forget where [could even have been this thread tbh:lol:], but saying something along the lines of 'bowl straight at the useless cúnt' - now if that, or something alone that line is what was said then this is teh biggest load of crap over nothing going.

they should simply call time on his England career. What a bloody farce this is turning into.
 
Something a bit more afoot than just texts IMO.

Either way, I wish they'd stop dragging it out. Either make him available for selection or tell him to fuck off.

There isn't anyone that wouldnt say Pietersen is absolutely top drawer and by far our best cricketer. Therefore its immaterial how many runs he scores and how good or bad England are without him.
