Id say the Saffers are still in control of this one. If they can get a lead of anywhere near 250 they'll fancy their chances. And with a lead 139 with 7 wickets in hand Id suggest a lead of 250 is well within their capabilities.

SA favourites but really looking forward to the trip to Lords tomorrow to watch what will hopefuly be a great days play.

Time for Anderson to get wickets again.

Cant afford to be dropping Amla and De Villiers in the fashion they have. Prior and Anderson have been swallowing those up routinely in recent history

Its them two drops off Amla and AB that will cost them imo.

Yep. theyre both far too good players to offer any other golden opportunities like that. Dropped any chance of staying number 1 with those catches IMO

Amla is an absolute joy to watch. So classy in his strokes. Missing the chance for his wicket has cost us the test match.

Swann can't spin the ball

He clearly can. He gets more revs than most. The difference is he is now up against TOP batsmen who have worked him out.

Does Strauss know we need to win this test?

Beauty from Finn gets rid of Amla. Super innings from him. Need a wonder spell and for the rest to fall quickly to have a sniff.

Is Botham pissed? "Smith wont be worried just yet". He wont be worried at all ffs

Another superb ball by Finn sees the end of AV
