A good day for Durham and an excellent one for Onions, but, it's only half time and we're only one up.
The opening spell from Onions and Rushworth was a perfect example of bowlers working together. Rushworth kept it tight from one end ( 6 overs for 10 runs) which allowed Onions to attack the stumps, with great affect, from the other.
The forecast is not good for tomorrow and we may not get back on till late in the afternoon, it might not give us the chance of victory without taking a gamble with the declaration, and our recent history with contrived results doesn't fill me with confidence.
Credit to Woody and Rushy too, for the last wicket partnership that took the wind out the Notts lads sails.
Here's hoping we can see this one through to the end.
