Were batting first so maybe it'll turn out well with Onions coming back tomorrow.

I find playing 4 seamers a bit odd like...

CD Thorp, ME Claydon, MA Wood, C Rushworth

risky considering how poor our batting has been to drop a batsman for a bowler. wins will be welcome, a few batting points wouldnt go amiss however!

Claydon will drop out for onions and Mustard will bat at 4, good move as he's form at the moment.

Smith gone. Played a shocker according to commentator.

Any other year and we'd be calling for a batman's (averaging 21's) head

Its amazing that you can halt play for someone walking behind the side screen, yet not a noisy bastard helicopter

Jennings gone LBW for 2

Fair play to Harry re Mustard at 4. Would rather he opened to be fair like.

at an overcast trent bridge which imagine is 'doing a bit' with our feeble top order im not to concerned tbh as anything around 250 might be ok first digs and the two main batsman you need to get out are still there

No doubt it's doing a bit, it would just be nice to post a decent first innings total for once, at leave give the bowlers a little bit to play with. Looking like another tight game is on the cards.

Indeed but I remain hopeful.

Notts dont look that strong in light of missing Adams, Taylor, Broad, Swann etc
