We are getting down to the business end of the season. Durham's win over Middlesex has given them a glimmer of hope.

This week they meet Surrey at home and it's another game Geoff Cook thinks is winnable.

Durham, Worcestershire, Surrey and Lancashire occupy the bottom four spots and there's now not much between them. They all have only one win to their names too.

Looks like a case of enjoy these commentaries while we can, as next year they are either being chopped or drastically reduced.
 
I'll be tuning in whenever possible. Crucial game for Durham. What's the cricket equivalent of a six-pointer?:-)
 
Cheers Marty. Can you shed any light on the cutting of services?? I feared the day when the Beeb removed county cricket from their priorities. Hopefully you'll still be on air next season - keep up the good work!
