England v South Africa - 1st Test

We need to start nicking Pakistani legspinners like.

Also, where's Jack Russell and Collingwood when you need them?

I think some of the players are built up to be better than they are, most notably Bresnan

Hes a decent cricketer and done miles better in test cricket than I thought he would. Hes still an obvious one to improve on though. Finn is a much more dangerous option and after we get beat tomorrow he will be a cert for the next test.

Worst thing that can happen here is Bopara getting a hundred tomorrow. They'll never drop the fucker then. If we're going to lose I'd rather be bowled out in 5 overs in the morning, kick the selectors and the team up the arse.

Not if we saved the game through it (unlikely I know).

Dead track, which highlights our batsmens failling. Should have post at least 500 with the start we had.

Mind, you need to take wickets to win matches and Finn gets wickets whenever he plays.

Our failings in the sub continent shos we arent all that. Saying that, we sit at No.1 on merit.

This.

We've been behind the rate in this test ever since the 2nd morning collapse. 385 was underpar and then we bowled a crock of shite too.

Shouldnt be allowed to charge people 50 quid a day when theyre rolling wickets out that practically guarantee a draw

Kallis has to go down as one of the all time greats, his record is insane

We f***ing wish. ;-)

Don't say that, just got myself a ticket for tomorrow. Saw they were £15 rang work up and got the day off and looking forward to at least (hopefully) a couple of hours watching test cricket in the sun!

I think the bowling is irrelevant.

If we had got the par score for the wicket a draw would have been a guarantee.

Apart from the Ashes last year, I still think we are prone to a collapse, some of the dismisals in the first innings were dreadful. There is still only Trott and Cook for me who really make the batsmen get them out.

Predict the time this will finish...
3pm from me.

Drop Bresnan who still looks like he's strggling to recover from his injury. Play Finn. Onions for Bopara because Headingly will swing.

The end of play on day 5, a dramatic last wicket stand between Jimmy and Prior saves the day. With the last ball Steyn nails Anderson right in front of middle stump, the umpire remains unmoved, the South Africans go mental....they have no reviews left.

....we can but dream

With the last ball of the day Morkel bounces out Jimmy...but Wait Jimmy uses England's last review despite the fact he fenced it off the face of the bat to slip...the crowd starts to leave when suddenly a huge roar screams out as the big screen replay shows Morkel has over stepped..The call of no-ball is made, making the scores tied with no more overs left in the day.:lol:
But this is just fantasy and we're all expecting to lose a wicket in the opening overs at the start of play.
