We havent had to play too well because their bowling has looked very average. However, we wont know how much that is down to the pitch until we have a bowl.
Saying that, the pitch has nothing to do with Morkel firing them all over the place at times and Tahir served up pies most of the day.
Was a little loose but credit to Kallis, he surprised him with a one that got high.

12 tests at an average of 34 with 3 centuries to his name. There have been worse players given longer runs in the team tbf. I think he will get all 3 tests against the Saffers as England are desperate for players that can play spin this coming winter. Whether he can deliver is another thing....

Been dropped 3 times in the space of those 12 tests. I agree there's a lot worse and he should be given this series to prove himself. I like Ravi but I'd be very surprised if he's still in the squad by the time the Ashes rolls around next year.
