I think it's just because Anderson is a good slip fielder and Bell isn't. Having sunglasses on won't have helped, but he could have been standing there with a white stick and a Labrador and he should have caught both of them chances.

Comparison with Anderson is irrelevant, anyone fielding in slips should have taken both of them comfortably.

What was Bravo trying to do there? Barely even catching practice!
