He's good enough to bat 4 or 5 no doubt, but while we're in such poor First Class form he won't be playing his natural game.

Coming in at 250/5 will give him the license to do what he wants, coming in at 30/3 won't.

Can't say I'm surprised despite hoping for changes. Rushworth deserves a go after yesterday and try obviously want a swing bowler to replace Onions. Harmison has no right being there though after his last two performances.

No Diva is a big loss again, looking at that batting lineup I can't see us scoring many :-(.

Agree with Andy's team, disagree with the order though. I'd go for a more conventional Smith, Rocky, Muchall, Stokes, Benk, Colly, Mustard, Borthwick, Rushworth, Thorp, Harrison.

Geoff Cook says we've given up on an overseas player for T20. So, if anyone from the club is watching - CAN WE PLEASE HAVE AN OVERSEAS PLAYER FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

I thought during the CB40 that Mustard should open with Rocky but thought I'd get shot down for suggesting it. But why not just go for it in the LVCC? It'll spread the field and make scoring easier. It also means Colly bats at 5 where he's better suited than 4.

Interesting that claydon has now been aded to an original 12 man squad. My bet is that Thorp will once more be dropped. We'll see.

Brandon you know this wont happen. We are already at the top of our £1.8m playing budget and someone would have to go for this to happen, perhaps 2 people immediately.

Why were we going over the budget for the sake of Mitchell fecking Johnson? He's a potential 'T20 Harmy' in the making.

The wage cap doesnt apply to the T20. I was talking about T20 only.

the only question mark there for me is claydon/harmison.

guess cook is not ready to give up on harmison yet, it alwas takes him a bit of time to find traction but i would love to see harmison steam in and make a match winning contribution.

what on earth has happened to brathwaite, anyone know how he is doing for the 2nds?

Not sure how this fella has been in the team/squad for so long. Another failure. Is there really no younger batsmen deserving of a chance? If not its a really sad state of affairs......
