KP Retires!

Thought he would of retired from Tests first not the other way round to be honest

Big loss though especially with 20/20 world cup round the corner ........

Looks like he wanted to pack in ODIs but stay playing T20. The central contracts class both as limited overs so they wanted all or nothing across those formats!

He is an utter plank but pretty much the only one of our batters I would pay money to see!

Agree, average of nearly 42 in ODI's and 9 hundreds. Nobody comes close to him as our best ODI batsman.....

Interesting to see if he keeps his test place as don't the selectors like to keep a pretty settled side throughout all formats of the game?
Why's he retiring by the way?

Because " KP " is for " KP " he says the international cricket season is doing to much damage, well stop the IPL shite then.

I bet he still plays IPL though, drop him from the test side.

Aye, this. Hes a self centred wanker imo, reckons its cos the schedule is too tasking in him at 32 year old  Doesnt seem to be stopping tendulkar, chanderpaul, ponting and kallis for example

Refreshing that players are still putting tests as their priority.

Mind he's only 31 which is a ridiculous age to semi retire.

You won't be saying that next year when he wants to skip the first test of the Summer to play IPL.
