i prefer bresnan personally. i thought finn would have been given the nod for lords because it was lords but as a player i think bresnan is better.

shame we couldnt have kept onions for taunton, we could have used him

With Broad in the side I don't think you need his batting, no problem for me having Broad, Swann, Anderson, AN Other as your 8-11.

I think Finn, Onions and Tremlett are better bowlers than Bresnan but there's not a lot in it (although Finn has the potential to blow the others away), I'd be happy for any 1 of them to play.
 
England, these days, very rarely change a winning team so I'm pretty sure Bresnan will retain his place for Trent Bridge.

As far as the contenders for the 3rd seamer role are concerned I think Finn slightly edges Onions at the moment with Bres 3rd and Tremlett 4th. I think his extra pace gives Finn the advantage although as others have said it is fantastic that we have such a fine complement of quicks to choose from.
 
I'd be amazed if the team was changed. Bresnan's 100% record in Tests will surely be extended.
