Graeme Bridge?

Used to regularly bump into him at SAFC away games, spot on lad but you could see why his figure wasn't exactly that of a model sportsman :-)
Graeme Bridge was playing for Blaydon last season.

Nicky Phillips is now a part time coach at The Newcastle Cricket Centre and still plays for Swalwell.

Gary Pratt is, I believe, going to play for Chester le Street CC this up and coming season.

Gary Pratt was a strange one, an excellent fielder who worked hard and ended up being our best batsman one season, then within a couple of years he was out of the professional game completely at a young age.

Are you not thinking of Gary Scott, who has moved to Chester from Hetton Lyons?

Stewart Hutton. Virtually the only Durham batsman at the time that was capable of easily clearing the ropes... I think he must have had a bust up with booney as he was never a regular despite clearly having talent (likewise Martin Saggers & Robin Weston who went on to have some excellent seasons in county cricket for other counties).

Now an IT teacher (or was about 7 years ago)

Was my form tutor, and used to put this cricket game on the computers from about 2000, and he was on it.

Would never put it on for us once we realised, refused to talk about his cricket career and left after just 1 year at our school

He's going to miss at least the 1st month of the season like

Nick Speak was a bellend!

Paul Parker was my favourite. I was only about 11 and we had just gone 1st class but he was classy as owt.

There are loads of ex Durham still around in the local leagues.

Blenkiron
Daley
Betts
Hunter
Killeen

to name a few
