After what seems an eternity, he gets his 100th.

Bravo to a superb batsman.

No respect for a man who refused to move in the order to help his team and is the main objector to the DRS system cos he knows he gets away with lbw's most of the time.

Wanker.

Cant blame him DRS is shit.

I was starting to think he was never going to get it. I can't see it being long until he retires now he's hit that landmark.

No it isn't. It much more accurate that just going with the umpires. Tendulkar knows umpires bottle decisions against him and he also knows he'd be on his bike much more often if DRS was used.

Like when he got out in the 90's a few times to rubbish decisions in england a few year ago? Collingwood got him with 1, it wouldn't of hit another set of stumps

Monumental achievement without doubt and unlikely to be equalled. Arguably the most gifted batsman in history.

Still not a huge fan. Much like Lara, I always get the feeling that its always about him.

Aye he may have had the odd one but if you are suggesting he would have had as good a record with DRS in place (like all other batsmen) you are mistaken. The difference is the rest know it is more accurate so accept it. He doesnt cos he is a little arsehole.

Look no further than 'the wall' for a true sportsman and class act. You wouldnt see him refusing to move up the order to help the team, of that you can be certain.

Tendulkar always has been and always will put himself before the team.

This is why i wont criticise KP, plenty of times he's come in to try and get England into a position to win rather than playing for his own average.

I understand what you mean, but please don't mention Tendulkar and Pietersen in the same breath. Tendulkar is the best Batsman ever and the stats back that up.

funnily enough he didn't but you did.

and i agree with his point, for such an egotistical and arrogant player [to his detractors] he never plays for his stats he always plays teh game the same way, often to his downfall when swinging the bat on 99 ;-)
