Told by who?

I heard he could leave the country or he could stay for as long his visa allowed (ie he wouldn't be deported) but he/his representatives were concerned about his safety going back to Pakistan.

Courts. Apparently. Only caught half the story when on way out for match.
 
Hypothetically,
Since Butt/Asif are in prison in England, doe's this mean that they would qualify to play for England when they get released?
